Quote of the Day

...Turns out training up kids in the way they should go is a daily stewardship of the most ordinary moments. 🌿  ~Ruth Chou Simons @gracelaced

I tend to expect it to look a certain way, but he's always making the most out of the ordinary. Breakfast is the captive audience that we don't always get otherwise with the boys. #mrtroysimons knows that, so you'll find him in the early morning, serving up: audio Bible, heart talks, catechism Q&As, and the best basted eggs. Maybe I make it too complicated: Turns out training up kids in the way they should go is a daily stewardship of the most ordinary moments. 🌿 Missing this scene and my guys today. Woke up at the adorable #whatevercrafthouse in KS (see my stories!), and getting ready to speak on the Beatitudes this week to the ladies who will be arriving at #whatevercampcreate today. Praying that lives will be filled up to be poured out in the ordinary places we are called to. 🌿 #thesimonsboys #simonsfamilyworship #wildandfreechildren #juststartsomewhere #extraordinaryinmyordinary

Dominique
Hello, thanks for dropping in. I'm Dominique ~ Christian, wife of the Rugged Mountain Man and mama to four beautiful Blossoms, ranging from nineteen to eleven years old. We homeschool while we live our rustic life on a few acres of ground in a charming little Eastern Hollow. Our golden retriever, Binney, corrals an ever-increasing herd of rabbits, and a happy little flock of chickens and ducks. Visit me often, for I've always got thoughts, stories and such that I love sharing with you.
