Snowstorm Gail

While we didn't get as much snow as some people did, the 2020 Snowstorm Gail was memorable.

I remember the Blizzard of '93 and also the Presidents' Day Storm of 2003 being storms of consequence.

Snowstorm Gail was right up their with them.  It was the most snow my girls have ever seen in their whole lives!

AND it was the most snow we'd ever seen in the 17 years of living here in the Hollow.

The Rugged Mountain Man plowed snow ALL DAY LONG...

and because it was so deep and the temps were forecasted to stay cold for several days, we had to dig paths to all the animal pens,

as well as make sure we could access all the doors, feed areas and such.

Jake loves snow, but he thought it was as exhausting as I did.

However, I figure, if we're gonna have winter,

Let's have WINTER.

We're ready for some more!
