Bent Beneath the Load

Motherhood can be difficult.  The load upon us weighs heavier and heavier some days. 

I've been encouraged by these two verses lately. 

The LORD helps the fallen

and lifts those bent beneath their loads.

Psalm 145:14

...The LORD lifts up those who are weighed down...

Psalm 146:8

Are you bent down underneath your load?  Are you weighed down so far that you've fallen?  

What is the answer when it looks like our load never ends?

The Lord.  

Mamas, cry out to Jesus when your load is heavy.  

He never fails to give you His rest - a load that is light.
