Sunrises are some of the biggest perks of rising early.
I stand at the sink, revelling in God's glory, while I fill the teapot. As it bubbles and brews and perks, the girlies straggle out with sleepy eyes to claim their favorite spots on the couch.
We've tweaked our morning routine so that the Blossoms can each have some quiet time in their rooms before we all convene in the living room with our blankets, tablets, and jounals for the rest of our devotional times.

The goal is daily life-giving time with God. And I am liking this small change. The older Blossoms are too.
The younger Blossoms need a little longer to adjust to change it seems, but steering a ship is more about daily small adjustments than quick, sharp turns.
In the mornings, when we rise, give us more of Jesus.
